Cool Video

This is long, it gets good about halfway through when it addresses humanism.
You may want to slide it half way to start it.

At first the sound quality is bad but its worth a listen!

James, I didn't watch this, I am guessing shes singing I don't know how to love Him. When I was a kid before becoming a Christian I bought this album, because it was a big deal. Even at that age, I didn't think it was right and that it was blasphemous.

Jesus Christ is King of King and Lord of Lords not someone that you would so foolishly or carelessly make a rock opera about!

Even the Christian song I can only Imagine, is nonsense, nice song but nonsense none the less. Anyone thats ever read their Bible knows the response of being before the God of the universe, and its on your face with fear and trembling.

The Jews wouldn't even say his name, God hasn't changed only mans lack of respect for him.

The culture even in Christianity has reduced Jesus to a lover and best friend and our relationship to him as something casual, as if Gods now been brought down to our level. This just goes to show how idolatrous we have become, that is not the God of the Bible.

11 am Sunday morning has become the most idolatrous hour in the nation as people flock to churches to worship an imaginary God of their own making.

Its so important that our theology informs every area of our lives, even our music so that these low and false views of God from the world don't influence us.

We now have girly men singing breathy and whinny songs about Christ as if Hes a chick about how they cant cope, rather than On Christ the Solid rock I stand or Almighty fortress is our God.

Sorry I don't get it, what does this video have to do with the one I posted or your understanding of justice?

Those thinking ahead forgive the analogy, I know James, and I want to see if I can get a truthful response.

OK so you have this pet dog that you love. Hes your pest friend and a faithful companion. Everyday from 3-5 you need to put him out in the yard. The kids get off school and everyday torment him and throw stones at him around you hes as sweet as can be and would never hurt a fly but one day hes had enough he breaks his leash and bits the kid that throws rocks at him. Now is he a horrible beast for giving the kid what he deserves after months of being tormented and abused?

I know you, and you would say and I quote "certainly not" wouldn't you?

That happened to me as a kid, except I never threw rocks at the dog (I love dogs). It however did not distinguish between myself and the guilty party. Even then I felt sad for the dog.

I was just sticking to this thread subject of "Cool Video" because the subject of God's justice or any justice on the other thread kind of came to a dead end in my opinion.

As to the dog - I do not throw stones and I would not stand idle if others threw stones at a dog, and I do not like owning pets, and I do not approve of dogs bitting a kid even if they do deserve it.

And I did figure that you offering a 35 minute video of crying hell and damnation but you would not watch my 5 minute video of a nice Women singing a Christian song, then the message in Tom Petty's Refugee does seem like a fitting reply in my opinion.

Peace to you = Salam aleka.
