Finally a Catholic understands that there are such teachings that present "another gospel" and "another Jesus" of which I have been stating all along. Nice to have a Catholic recognize that Truth for once.

Now, just need to have the RCC re-visit their own Catechism that states Muslims adore the same God (in reference to the Hebrew God, Yahweh) and also seriously consider the difference between the "Catholic Jesus" who is accompanied in Heaven with His mother, Mary, reigning as "Queen of Heaven," "Mediatrix," "Co-Redemptrix," "Advocate," and can "help souls get into Heaven," etc. whereas The New Testament Jesus is the Only Mediator between God and man and is NOT accompanied by Mary in the role given to her by the RCC.

Also, when people die they are either saved or not saved in the here and now and that is their final state. No such thing as an opportunity to get cleaned up in a spiritual half-way house called purgatory, according to New Testament teachings.

Well, Barry Soeto was listed as a Muslim on his school records in Indonesia, and that was at a Catholic School. There is the famous interview during the 2008 campaign with George steponallof us, where he kept referring to "My Muslim Faith" until Stephanopolis corrected him. For the very young George was a Clinto operative.

I would prefer a real Conservative as Republican candidate, maybe we will still get one. B ut I will vote for Romney if need be to get rid of Obummer. Religion should not matter in the Presidency as our Constitution, if followed, would protect us from any damage.

Question for you and your fellow travelers. If no Purgatory, are the souls of all the dead who died in a state of Grace in Heaven with Jesus, His Mother and the Saints, and if not where are they that is not Purgatory?

Ugh, yeah.....

Be honest, is "spiritual halfway house" your term? Be honest, not dishonest like you were in the other thread where you denied ever having a Christmas tree....

The only problem is that Obama may already know something that we, the voters, don't know.

Um... I did not have a Christmas tree nor celebratory Christmas lights this year. The question was if I put up a Christmas tree and lights. The question was not "have you ever..."

Seems that came up last year, no? And, sure, I admitted last year that I have put up a Christmas tree in the past but that was before my perspective on this changed as duly noted since the date of December 25th is a pagan holiday and not really the actual birth date of The New Testament Jesus Christ. Your burst of accusation in calling me "dishonest" is forgiven btw. You do not know what you are doing.

And, yes! Purgatory can be viewed as a "spiritual half-way house" if it is someplace that a Catholic believes they will go to upon death in order to await cleansing/purging of their soul before they can enter Heaven and see God.

Perhaps you could explain where "purgatory" exists. If not in the spiritual world and not yet with The Lord, where?

The question was to you Starman3! Where are the souls of the people who died in a state of Grace? are they already in Heaven with Jesus, His mother, the Saints or somewhsre else? Many years ago, when your "nondenominational" ideas started, I was told they were nowhere until the last day. We, Catholics, believe thay are in Purgatory, many until the end of time as Mary told the Seers at Fatima, whesked about a friend of theirs who had died.
