So, let me get this straight.

You have a book that tells you all the answers to everything....you don't have to do any thinking for yourself because all the guidance is right there in front of you....all you have to do is choose whether or not you want to follow it.....

....and none of you will agree on what the book actually says?

Not exactly. We have Sacred Scripture AND Sacred Traditions and a Church that interprets. However, many reject the Church and opt to interpret for themselves, which Scripture condemns. So there are Catholics and the people who protest the Church known as Protestants.

So how do you know who's interpretations are correct and does that mean that all the people that didn't pick the right interpretations are doomed to an eternity in hell?

If I didn't know what you were talking about I'd swear you were talking about evolution.

That's not how it works at all. Our salvation doesn't hinge on whose interpretation is correct. It hinges on whether you've followed the very basic tenet of accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior. After that, what you do, and where your heart is will only be judged by God.

Since I doubt you really want an answer, I'm not going to give you one. This rhetorical question is only propaganda. If you were honestly interested you'd be seeking answers. You are only asking to disrupt.

I'm pretty sure that was a reasonable question and you're afraid of the logic behind it.

You are incorrect.

I realize that it is difficult to believe me when I say this because more often on this forum people are just looking in instigate, but I am honestly just asking. I try to add that in there occasionally since it is difficult to convey sincerity over the internet.

While I personally have no religion, I am intrigued by it. For the most part I think it's neat to hear what people think and how people feel. Sometimes I think people are crazy but I generally just move on to someone that I think would provide good discussion. It's one of the ways I like to learn stuff, man.
