no, not at all, I studied some in the field of Apolgetics about a decade ago. Its knowing what you believe and why you believe it. Its about defending your faith against others - you have to know about others to be able to defend Christianity.

He also preached in a very monotone drone of a voice, so keep that in mind when picturing "fire and brimstone."
