I love this house!
It's some kind of skink.

I have red tailed skinks all over the place and a few blue tail ones. The move fast but are fun to watch.

I also have some kind of reddish brown lizard that I have not identified.

CHECKLIST OF THE REPTILES AND AMPHIBIANS OF MARYLAND from DNR's website. Very helpful.

I keep my extensive wildlife lists at enature now. Better than three dozen sheets of paper shoved in each of my field guides.

What are the black ones with the blue stripes called? My cat think the tails are tasty but leaves me the rest. Sometimes dead, sometimes not so much.

Stinkpot - poor bastard.

I'm surprised they only list six lizard species.

Eastern Wormsnake - caught one while mulching last year, pretty neat.

That is how I feel about my house. I wouldn't move to a nicer home just because my property is fantastic and full of wildlife. It is so peaceful!
