How do we catch it? - Page 3

I just get a small plastic trash can and my sandal or shoe and guide them into the can. They usually go right in it when their other escape routes are blocked. Then I just release them back in the yard...

Local common lizard. If you live in SoMD, you have them around your house. Either black w/ light stripes on main body and a blue tail (juvi) or brown with stripes (adult). Biggest I have seen was 6"-8" head to tail. Here's a pic of a juvi.
