| I have bought three used vehicles from Waldorf Chrysler Jeep. Two were pre-certified and one was not. Two were internet specials. I have never had a problem with any of the cars. They stand behind their cars. |

| I bought my first car from guy motors in mechanicsville. Had 24% interest. The wiper blade broke the first time i used it in the rain. Tres had to be replaced within 2 months i believe. Some kind of bearing (sp?) broke or something like that. whatever it was, it should of never passed inspection. took it back to guy motors and they said it wasnt their problem cause they just sold it, didnt inspect it. told me i had to take it to the mechanic in waldorf. the mechnic told me it wasnt their problem and to go back to guy motors. i told the mechanic that i wasnt going to drive back and forth so i would call the cops and ask them who's job it was to fix my car. i didn't have to call the cops, the mechanic fixed it right then and there. The car was pretty good after I fixed a couple problems. I ended up paying waaaayyy more then that car was worth but crap happens.

| Well, on the 3rd of March it will be THREE months my son has been without a car. This last week the Ford Dealership called Hodges and said, "Cars fixed, come get it!" Next morning my son called Hodges at 800AM with the temp about 31, he asked to be put on hold while they went and started it. It didn't start, it's still not fixed. I would never buy a Ford car myself after my experiences with the Fords we had as GOV's but I thought this one was a good bet.. a 2001 with <36000 miles on it. Now my son has been paying for this car for the last 3 months while it sits at the dealership.. and then they tell him he owes $650 for the "repairs" that as of yet haven't worked. At the 75 day mark we went to Hodges and fought with them about a resolution. They FINALLY decided to let my son have a loaner after I described driving through our current weather on a bike, as I loaned my son my truck to get back and forth from School and WOrk (it's what a dad does yanno). THey PROMISED the car would be fixed by the 29th, I gave them until the 15th of March before I required some kind of permanent resolution. I really think this should have been settled 2 months ago, but here we are 3 months later still fighting the battle, and why should we be fighting it, why can't the dealership do the right thing, admit they sold a bad car, and work out a resolution??

| my first car was a 89 ford tempo. I got it around 1999 or 2000, not sure. don't remember how many miles it had on it but it was a piece of crap. It is no where comparable to your sons car but it made me think of the winters I had with my Tempo. It would never start if it was cold otside. Luckily I had a co-worker who worked close by who didnt mind giving me a ride.

I hope THEY get the problem resolved soon... What a PITA. We bought our pre-owned Expedition from Prince Frederick Ford. I give them Got a great extended warranty with it and it isn't that 3rd party junk warranty either We took it to a Ford dealer up in Glen Burnie when the rear differential was leaking and they fixed it - and provided a Enterprise rental, FREE. | |
