Door Handle Covers

I'm debating on buying some chrome door handle covers for my truck... I was wondering how well they hold up? It seems like most brands, if not all, are held on by some sort of double sided tape. Now I use double sided tape at work sometimes and it proves to be pretty strong but the stuff I use it on isn't exposed to the elements... Just wondering if any of you have actually used them

The name/model plates are probably held in place with double sided tape

Handle covers

My husband has put handle covers and rear view mirror covers on his Jeep. He did allot of research before deciding on plastic vs chrome (expense). He was wary of the double sided tape, but he gave it a try. They were easy to put on, look like chrome and they stay in place. I think you will be pleasantly suprised.

You would be surprised how much stuff on vehicles you buy off the lot are put on with double sided sticky tape. That stuff is great. Go for it..

Surface prep is very important though. Make sure you clean off any wax, dirt, or road grime before you stick. Alchohol swabs work great.
