I just had to buy all new tires for one of my vehicles and Big Ed's Tire in Leonardtown was by far the cheapest. They beat Mr Tire, Bj's, Southern Tire, Costco etc...

I normally have Jason do our tires since we are right next door but they couldnt touch Big Ed's prices this time around.

Same here. The person that initially recommended him hasn't used Mr. Tire in quite some time. Even with Jason's cute ass getting the good deals, they still cannot top Big Ed. Luckily Big (Little) Ed isn't hard on the eyes either.

I got a decent deal at Southern Tire in Lex Park, but they really messed up my rims mounting the tires. I'll never use them again.

I've bought my last 8 to 10 sets at the Tire Rack and had them installed locally at R&R Automotive (closed now), Mr. Tire, and Merchants. They can send right to the installer, or to your house. Nothing like getting tires sent to the house and taking off the stickers and shipping bands, checking out the mfcr date stamps, etc prior to installation.

Also, if they're being sent from the Delaware warehouse, the Tire Rack can get tires to my house in 1 or 2 days. It is pretty awesome.

I usually buy mine from tirerack.com, then get WalMart to install them.

Jeep SRT runflats, those are 20 inch 45 series with a +150 speed rating, about 400 or so each.

Lamboghini Aventador, Pirelli Pzeros, 20 inch, 335/30/20, +186mph speed rating, $600 each.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS, 325/30/19s, custom made for that car alone, with an 80 wear rating that means they might last 5,000 miles, still only $750 or so. Most passenger car tires are in the 300-400 wear rating, and are good for 40,000-60,000 miles.
Quite a collection you have started. Which one do you use when it's time for winter storm prep stock up time?

I have to buy a new set of 335/35/17s for the Pant...but I'm going to burn up the ones on it before I do. Plenty of tread..but they are so old that they are cracking a bit and no way can be trusted at 200 mph.. Michelins will run me just under 500 each and Pirellis around 600 each.

Gary at Cheseldine's is working on getting me a good deal; got time to wait.

Does Big Ed offer any type of warranty in addition to the manufacturer's warranty?

I just picked a few vehicles I imagined to have the most expensive tires around. And in winter when the roads are snowy I leave the Charger and it's three season tires parked and drive the wifes truck.

I'm still trying to find tires that cost $1000 each and go on anything resembling a normal car, and no, Gilligan, a Pantera is NOT a normal car:)

It may depend on the brand of tire but he will definitely guarantee the work they do. He's an honest business man. They're pretty rare.
