Any idea if the MSRP of $113 grand will actually buy one of those? The Ford GTs were bringing dealer premiums of as much as 40 grand over MSRP, in effect making $120,000 cars cost $160,000 to actually buy.

Always good to see such premimum high-end American iron still in production regardless. But since I bleed Ford blue, it would have to be a GT for me....if I sell the Pantera, that is.

ZR1's are currently selling for about 10K bellow MSRP no dealer markups at all. I'm sure the upcoming C7 is hurting all C6 sales.

The ford GT is a lot more rare. The rarity of the GT has to greatly effect the dealer markups you are seeing. I remember seeing one at the ford dealer a couple of years ago. They were asking over 200k for the car.

I dunno. Seems to me that built-to-order ZR1s at 100 grand or more a pop aren't going to be a very common sight either.

When is yours due for delivery?

Like my car, I know it is capable of pulling a high 12 time, if I hit MIR when it's under say 50 degrees and the DA is underwater, but other than those conditions, low 13s is the best I could reasonably expect.

Biggest downer for the redlight racer is an actual drag strip.

2015 or 16, I have no desire for another C6 now that the C7 is right around the corner.

There is an easy solution for that. Just don't go to the dragstip.

I have no desire for a C7 Z06 after having been an owner of a C6 Z06, but I'd gladly take another one of those cars that they build on Conner Ave.
