Thumbs up Shocking!

"It's shocking that a candidate for President of the United States would go behind closed doors and declare to a group of wealthy donors that half the American people view themselves as ‘victims,’ entitled to handouts, and are unwilling to take ‘personal responsibility’ for their lives. It’s hard to serve as president for all Americans when you’ve disdainfully written off half the nation." (J. Messina)

yes it does.

Anything to take the focus off Obama and the mess going on right now.

I thought it was great of Romney to come out and do the press conference right away, no apologies. He also called on whoever got the audio to play the entire thing and not just the parts they wanted to play. And he's right, I'm sure these people do feel that they are victims and the government is doing a great job to keep them feeling that way.

Interesting, it seems Obama is on the ropes and he's emptying his gun early... This seems like something Obama would save until there was less than a month left, but he's screwing up so bad he's got to use his best stuff now just to keep it close...

It's shocking

That half the American people think the other half of American people feel they are entitled to handouts, and are unwilling to take ‘personal responsibility’ for their lives

Where does he get these wacky ideas?

General Motors pushing U.S. to sell stake: report - MarketWatch

Quote:
The Treasury Department is resisting General Motors' push for the government to sell off its stake in the automobile maker, The Wall Street Journal reports. Following a $50 billion bailout in 2009, the U.S. taxpayers now own almost 27% of the company. But the newspaper said GM executives are now chafing at that, saying it hurts the company's reputation

Most Dems say Stimulus didn't work because it was nowhere near big enough.

Same people say Obama-care doesn't go anywhere near far enough it take over of health care.
