Why would anyone object to this?

New York Mets Exploring 'Quiet' Section At Citi Field For Families With Autistic Kids « CBS New York
Quote:
It “would apply to a section in the second-deck, left-field seats,” which sell for between $20 and $78 apiece under the team’s dynamic pricing plan, according to the New York Post. The paper quoted a few Mets fans who panned the concept, calling it “stupid,” “boring” and “just not baseball.
B&C Morning Show: Mets’ Silent Gesture « CBS New York

Quote:
Upon hearing about the Mets’ plans to designate a section at Citi Field for ‘quiet seating,’ Craig’s initial reaction was, “Wait, what?!”

After going off on a rant about why this is such a bad idea, Craig heard from the Mets, who offered an explanation as to why they are mulling over the decision and their reasoning not only made Craig backtrack on his earlier statements, but he also praised the Mets organization for their thoughtfulness to families with autistic children
If you don't want to stay quiet during the game, don't sit in the quiet section. Duh. Even if it weren't to benefit autistic kids, what's the big deal?

Open your eyes! This is no doubt the first step (well, the second I guess) in Bill Maher's master plan to turn MLB ballparks into a haven for socialist sympathizers.
