Nissan 1993 Kingcab

I have an issue, well have lots of issues however this issue is dealing with my truck. I have been having problems starting the ole gal, I took the battery out to view the alternator and on it there is the block electrical connection and I would assume the hot which has a screw and a bolt. On this screw there was a wire not part of the hooded connection which was also screwed down. The end sad to say is/was corroded and not going anywhere, I looked everywhere I could for the remaining wire with no luck. I am hoping someone out there may have either a 1980-1996 nissan and could visually look at thiers and let me know where it goes. I have checked the internet unsuccessfully. Thanks ahead of time!
