You might PM Floyd2004, hes a Neon electrical guru. I seem to recall that center bezel is a just a snap-tite kinda fitting from when I had mine apart, but that was 3-4 years ago. I know Floyds more conversant and recent than I am.

Those idiots dont know there ass from a hole in the ground. Ive been installing my own stuff since i was 16, and i was installing stuff for friends since i was 14. Its not that hard, ive done a majority of the cars with no diagrams, some clips here a few screws here and there, rotate the piece to get it past the steering wheel. The "installers" at BB and CC think they know everything when it comes to car audio, when they dont even know the difference between RMS power and peak.

Floyd would know a neon, never done one.

This is from neons.com

Push the a/c vents to the up position, than carefully push up the outside (seat side of each, not the side where the come together in the middle) them up to pop them out, try not to break them. There are two screws hiding behind them on the top of the bezel. One scre for each vent.

After that is it really simple... pull out the knobs on the hvac otherwise they are going to fly when you pull on the bezel. It is cliped on so pop it off carefully.

Your 100% correct, but that does'nt change the fact that there are still people out there that know less than them, or, just dont whant to do it themselves.

Once again, thanks for the info. I'm gonna have a go at it this weekend when the weather finally settles out!
