| S-10 u-joints and cv double cardan help i have a 2003 s-10 with a two piece driveshaft. I need to replace the rear u-joints and replace the cv ball and cup on my 2wd s-10. Has anyone done this before, any help would be great as in where to get cv parts or u-joint parts, i know i have to melt out the plastic on the u joints but how to the new u-joints stay in? So if you can help me out at all please do so. thanks kevin

| if this is a true CV joint. I would not recommend taking it about yourself. A friend of mine is a professional technician and had a Chevy Extreme in the shop that had a true CV joint, he replaced the U-joints and the truck had such a bad vibration the shop had to replace the drive shaft at their expense.
