| Yea, Tony is not staying, and I am sure Gm will buy him out of his contract. I can however see Tony going to the 5 car, and still buying hass to be an owner. Mark Martin should be making his announcement at daytona this week, and then the rest will start to make theirs shortly after. |

I don't expect Casey Mears to land a ride. Quite honestly, Mears isn't Sprint Cup material. I fully expect Mark Martin to go to the 5 car. Also, you got to look at the JR MOTORSPORTS equation. I think Martin goes full-time to the 5 car, and Hendrick starts up a 5th car through JR MOTORSPORTS for Brad Keselowski. Tony wants to be an owner. He wants to be able to make decisions that are going to help him, and quite honestly, Tony doesn't have any pull at Gibbs anymore. As long as Wild Thing is winning all the races and has the spotlight, everything Joe Gibbs Racing does is going to be about helping him perform. What I'm interested in seeing is what happens with Joey Logano. Obviously, JGR has more interest in fielding Cup drivers in minor league racing than he does fielding Joey Logano. I wonder if he goes to the #20 car. If he does, I'd expect him to start winning races. Sorry Ky fans, Logano's the better driver. I'm interesting in seeing how Wild Thing will react when he's not the one winning the races, and it'll probably be the same as when he was with Hendricks: ![]() :I think Tony's going to Haas CNC, and from what I've heard, this is imminent.

I wanna see what is going to happen with Logano too. Jeff Gordon has been my favorite since early 90's but I really like Logano too. I heard he was turned down to run at daytona this week in busch, so if Gibbs is going to get him into the cup series, they need to start running him in some more intermediate tracks, and letting him get as much seat time as he can. On a side note, it looks like juan gained alot of fans this week. I bet they cheer him during driver intro this week. ![]() | |

At least Juan manned up and admitted his part. Kyle tried playing the I didn't do anything card like he always does. Montoya's more of a man than Kyle will ever be.![]() I hope NASCAR does nothing. They let Kyle get away with a lot this year, and they let Kurt get away with those stunts at Daytona this year and Darlington last year.

| Some interesting theories here. Here's my two cents. Martin and Keselowski share the #5 so Keselowski can get some seat time before his rookie season in Cup for 2010. Jr has said he is not interested in fielding a Cup team. Stewart leaves JGR to reunite with Chevy/GM at HaasCNC with heavy backing from Hendrick, aka the fifth car scenario. Logano moves up to the #20 in cup for 2009. Everyone thinks he can do it so why not give it a try. If Newman goes with Stewart, aka the sixth car scenario, Mears goes to Penski. If not, Mears has an open invitation to go back to open wheel thanks to Uncle Rick. Or ![]() |

| Tony will leave JGR and enter into a partnership with Haas , Drive chevy motors from Hendrick , and maybe win 3 races before retiring as driver. Home Depot will stay with JGR with Joey Lagono (SP) as driver of the #20 Home Depot Toyota ! |
