If you consider going in slow circles fun, might I suggest you watch the merry go round at the local carnivals. Or maybe take in an open wheel race at a road course, or maybe a rally car race.

Me, I prefer cars that go fast. Leave the "stock" on the showroom floor.
I don't consider 'circles' fun at all. I just thought it was more interesting to watch than watching grass grow when they raced real cars. Cars you could actually go to the dealership and touch, even take for a test drive, BUY if you wanted to.

IF i watch racing I prefer to watch road racing. Formula 1.. At least they race on roads, and not tracks made to be capable of high speeds.

Even bike racing, Moto GP ANYthing but NASCAR.. or TRUCK racing.. or anything else where they are trying to convince someone to buy a Ford because "..look how we are kicking ass in our "ford"."

I find it funny that the Chevy Ford competition is still alive and well in the hearts of many NASCAR fans, when there is no difference other than a sticker or two between either car.

And if STOCK is to be left on the showroom floor, than really, they should take STOCK out of the NASCAR name. maybe the 'S' shoudl stand for.. Same As Everyone Else's on the Track.

Bob, with all due respect.....let any of the open car, stockcar racers, strap in a Top Fuel car (either), and they will will learn what power and control is, this side of an F18...

Actually Funny Cars are much harder to "control", the Dragsters are pretty much point and shoot. What seperates the best Top Fuel Dragster drivers from the rest is their ability after a run to relate info the computers don't pick up to the crew what the car was doing.

Strap 'em in a Nitro Funny Car, then get back to me about "control."

Fast circles, slow circles, they're all the same.

Why does everybody think that no american company can manufacture a car capable of a sustained 200+ mph?

Andy do you specifically only root for the front-runners? Between Busch and Schumacher, do you also root for the Patriots, Yankees, Red Wings and Lakers?

And also, don't hate on that Dixon/LaHaie Miller Lite dragster. Before your boy bought Allen Johnson, they couldn't even touch them. 2002 and 2003 that team was lethal.
