No more bus throwing...

...I am sick of the phrase "He threw him under the bus" when describing distancing of ones self or supposed sacrifice of an old ally due to inconvenient circumstances or other.

So, your challenge is two fold; Are we, as a free people, in agreement that we need a new phrase and, two, what would you suggest?

If in the next 24 hours we, the people, decide we've had enough of bus's and such and we have some good suggestions, then we shall vote, via yet another poll, on what the new phrase shall be.

If you do not exercise your right to participate, you will not be allowed to complain if you don't like the new one. Your concerns will be addressed by the new phrase.

Bus is perfect when it is used correctly. No reason to get rid of it because there's nothing wrong with the phrase.

It should not have been used yesterday because nobody was thrown under the bus. Obama didn't ruin Wright, so he was not thrown under the bus.

...the danger. You get all these free radicals running around using phrases inappropriately and no one calls them in it. Something needs to be done.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color or length of their bus but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today!

Personally, I like the phrase and rarely use it... only when I really really mean it
