Vista has a lot of nifty features...but they are all aesthetic memory hogs. I still use XP...and probably will until all new software is compatible with both.

Linux > all, imo

I hate Vista.

I love Mac, but that's not what I have right now

Didn't all existing peripherals (printers. etc.) need new drivers that didn't exist?

My desktop (Vista) and my work laptop (XP) sit right next to each other when I'm home and I prefer XP. I don't think I'll ever get used to Vista.

Where to buy/go and get "up grade"?

Thanks!!!!!!
Some of the Dell systems you can opt (pre configure) to see "XP only" machines...

Or if you have XP on a machine now, just use its key if you are retiring that one... if it does not take, call MS and have it converted over to the new LT so you can "register" that copy with MS.
