I can't stand those flies

Those sweat flies, or whatever they are called are everywhere. I attempted to walk the beach this morning, but I couldn't go 5 seconds without one flying into my head. In the RAIN no less.

Funny how the ads at the bottom of your post are for "how to kill a fruit fly", fruit flies", and " a fruit fly trap that really works"

Oh yes they are nasty little buggers, land with their teeth either on top of the head or on the back of the neck. I opened the pool only yesterday, and they were alive and well waiting for me. grrr.

So does smoking a cigarette. That's one big reason why so many professionals who work outdoors all day smoke.

Not a socially-acceptable solution these days. But there you are.

I spray Off Skintastic on me, pretty much all over (hadn't thought about spraying my hat though; will have to try that next time). They still swarm me but don't bite (still very annoying). They'll attempt to land me then jump right off.
