Well, isn't this nice. Article posted on this site. Having seen a grandfather die from lung disease caused by asbestos while working with the navy, I am not pleased to know that this was going on where my husband is located and I visit.

I work at NRL in DC - some of those really ol WWII era buildings make me think, even though they have been "cleaned"...

I also work at NRL. All of the building have been either cleaned or the bad stuff is coated and inspected... I only know because we were displaced twice because of it. When they get to knocking down the buildings up front, it will be expensive.
