This Saturday, November 17, 2007, the members of Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department will hold a boot drive for the Purvis family.

So if you see them out and about in the Lusby/Solomons area with a boot, that is what they will be collecting for.

I hope they get more than they do on their normal boot drives that are for funds to run the fire department.

Remember that Calvert County fire and rescue are all volunteers!

I always feel so guilty when they do one of these boot drives and all I have is my debit card...
