If you're looking for an evening of fun, I recomend enjoying the enthusiastic student performances in "Break a Leg".

In this show-within-a-show, Ysabelle Maramag shows a fine range of emotions as the increasingly-harassed director Polly. Stephen Brown and Hayes Converse were cast as perfect foils for one another, drawing much laughter from the audience. Emily Quade turned in a charming performance as Mistress of Ceremonies, and Lelani Bright lived up to her name by shining in her main role as Gertrude. Jessica Williams was a strong presence as assistant stage manager, and David Smith stole the spotlight in several of his scenes. The young lady who played the prop manager gave a lovely sympathetic response to the harassed director. Kudos to Elizabeth Jean, Sarah Duff, Cat Depperschmidt, Mary Depperschmidt, Sarah Infante, Chris Meyers.

Every young actor/actress featured in this production, as well as the stage & lighting crew (who ran things so smoothly!) is to be applauded for the tremendous dedication and effort they committed to this production. Do yourself a favor and make plans to see "Break a Leg" -- there are only two shows left!
