Daryl Davis, an accomplished blues and R&B musician, is one of the finest boogie woogie piano players in the nation and is a true Washington treasure. He has toured extensively with Muddy Water's Legendary Blues Band, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley's Jordanaires, The Coasters, Pinetop Perkins and Johnnie Johnson.
Whether performing a searing Blues, a pounding Boogie Woogie or a rocking American Roots Tune, Daryl practices what he preaches: to make his audiances happy. Happy they are- always coming back for more of his lively entertaining theatrics.
Davis earned his Bachelor of Music Degree from Howard University where he was a member of the famed Howard University Choir and their renowned Jazz Vocal Ensemble. Davis is also a published author. His CD "American Roots" has a little something for everybody from the roots of American music to Blues to Rockabilly.
