TJ Bridge traffic backed up...

Listening to the scanner, nothing yet.....
Something about a broken down vehicle, and police were at the bridge to assist.
Ya, i saw a Sherriff car with lights flashing at the merge southbound.
I wonder why that happens so much. Of all the places to break down, a bridge would be my worst fear. I think I'd just leave it and tell them to push it overboard.

We went over around 6:30 and was in the back up...turned out to be a disabled American Ambulance on the shoulder in the southbound lane, Just off the bridge in St. Marys. I am sure that there was another unit there to do the transfere of what ever patient was in the original ambulance.
So flashing lights, 2 ambulances, rubber-necking..all result in a slow down on the TJ bridge.
Coming back home, around 9:15, the Ambulance was still there with someone sitting in the drivers seat. Most likely waiting for a tow truck or something.
