There is an article in today's Calvert Recorder. Home was considered an architectural masterpiece! Who knew.

beautiful house

From the road, I always admired the details of the house during the winter, when the leaves died back. It was a beautiful house. Lots of neat details, like the windows etc. It must have been quite the house originally.

Personally, I think it's a shame that it has to be torn down. It's beautiful even in the state its in.

Not trying to come off as dumb or anything, but it says it's been occupied up until 2000 - that's barely 8 years ago. Does a house go that downhill that fast when unoccupied? :yikes::shrug: :stupid: 40 years I could see but not 8

It looked very run down when it was being lived in.
