We are willing to share our load of horse quality hay, Timothy/Broome, brought down from New York, barn stored and a covered load.
$100.00 per bale.
The delivery's scheduled arrival date is this Saturday afternoon of 1/26/08 - you pick up, we load, in Huntingtown MD. If you'd like to reserve some, pre-payment is required.
One full bale in a round bale feeder will last 4 horses approximately 8/10 days if turned out on it 24/7. Longer if the horses are put up at night.
You can put the large squares on end, and separate the bale with pallet forks (the easiest way), or leave bale on it's side, divide in half with a triple spear hay spear, secure with straps for moving.
If you are moving it by hand, it flakes off like a regular small square bale does, each flake is approximately one 50 lb square bale. Horses LOVE this stuff.
