Anyone used this service before

My vet at tidewater suggested I go to http://www.aavec.com/specialists.htm..Anyone have any input good/bad?
To see one of there specialist because my cat has a mysterious problem no one seems to be able to dignose . (Here it is in a nutshell)
I've been to Waldorf E- vet 3 times,and I've had good experience with them.The first time I had to take Binx , was 5.30 am in the morning with him choking his air way was swelled so bad DR FOX had to do a trecioscomy(excuse the spelling)That was when Binx was 2 yrs he now is 5 .And he's been up there twice since with simular symtoms they say it's some kind of allegic reaction.Why is my boy so allegic to eveything?????? Me and my room mate have spend alot of $$$$$$ on our cat which is our baby..How much is too much for an animal that has a hold on our hearts???
I know I have rambled, But this has been weighting alot on my mind lately..

I would go to the specialist. I love annapolis emergency vet they are very good and do a good job with the animal and they will only do what is necessary they aren't out to suck you dry moneywise

it may be to far from you but, i have a cat who had a lot of problems going to the bathroom, crystals in his penis area? anyway i took him to a well know vet in calvert he charged me $1500. and then when he still wasn't better 3 days later and the doctor said it would be more for test i took him home and called a small country vet that was slow talking and all, if it had not been an emergency and i hadn't heard good things i would never have left him but... i did and he kept the cat for over night called the next morning and charged me $20. for an antibiotic and sent him home, no charge for the stay since i had spent so much at the other vet. cat has been fine and its been 3 yrs. i will never go to another vet. Dr. carl brown, skinners turn rd. off rt. 4 in huntingtown, c.c.

Hi cattitude
Are they expensive up in annapolis? Not that Binx is worth more than my car right now...My budget's getting really tight these days..And do you travel up there frequenty.
I live in hollywood, MD. And it's not a quick trip anywhere when it comes to a E-vet or specialist.....
