    Gingrich Warns of GOP Catastrophe

"As a citizen, I would rather have a President McCain that we fight with 20 percent of the time, than a President Clinton or a President Obama that we fight with 90 percent of the time.”

But he warned: “If we run a traditional consultant-dominated tactical Republican campaign, like we’ve seen in the last eight years, we will be defeated this fall, and we will be having a CPAC meeting next year talking about how we rebuild for the future with either President Obama or President Clinton in charge.” "

    yeah this:

In a rousing speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Sunday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich called for a conservative “declaration of independence” from the Republican Party.

the GOP, does not represent Conservatives these days, those in leadership have slid to the left, attempting to get any RINO elected ( like DNC tried and Failed to do with Kerry) this is a disaster waiting to happen, why should centrists vote for; been in congress 25 yrs McCain; with Hussian smartly running on change [without telling us what change, but change non the less ]

because McCain is so socialist a lot of Conservatives and Evangelicals are going to sit it out this one out rather than vote, just to vote for anyone not Hussian or Shirlly ........

“First of all, I think we need to get independent from a Washington fixation. There are 513,000 elected officials in the United States and the conservative movement should believe in a decentralized United States, where every elected official has real responsibility, and we should be developing a conservative action plan, at every level of this country, and not simply focused over and over again on arguments about the White House…

“I actually believe that any reasonable conservative will, in the end, find that they have an absolute requirement to support the Republican nominee for president this fall…

When Hell freezes over and the Devil is giving out Snow cones ...........

I dont like McCain, Never did. But a lot of people have selected him to be the Republican candidate. Its too late for another to step up.

I will be holding my nose to vote for him, but better him than Hillary or Obama.

I'm not voting for McCain. Or Obama.

And I'm not afraid of Obama being President because pretty much anything he wants to do will have to go through Congress first. And I predict that the midterms will be very kind to the GOP if Obama is elected.

Once again, we get to vote against the fascists instead of voting for a candidate we believe will help the United States.

...very true and we are in the midst of sifting through the wreckage and figuring out what to do next.

You guys, on the other hand, are heading right for yours at warp speed.
