The CSM Film Club will be showing the foreign film "The Wind That Shakes The Barley" next week, Wednesday, March 12th, from 6-9pm at the Leonardtown Campus, A Building, in the audiotorium. The film was produced in Ireland, and covers the Irish-British war of the early 1900s. Starring Cillian Murphy, the film won the Golden Palm award at Cannes, Best Cinematographer at the European Film Awards, the Audience Award for Best Irish Film and the IFTA Award for both Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Liam Cunningham) and Best Film at the Irish Film and Television Awards, all in addition to being nominated for 13 other awards.

Members of the film club will discuss various topics, including foreign films in general, as well as their acceptance here in America, with more topics possible for discussion.

The film will be shown with a short intermission, and free refreshments will be provided.
