On Friday, March 21st, 2008, all Commuter Bus lines will operate as scheduled EXCEPT lines #901, #902, and #905, which will operate on an amended schedule in the afternoon (PM).
The MTA understands that some riders may wish to leave work early on Friday, March 21 in observance of Good Friday. Accordingly, and after reviewing data from last year’s service, the MTA will make the following modifications:
Route 901-Trips #45 and #52 will NOT operate. Instead, two buses will run the mid-day trip (trip # 29) making all stops and another bus will run between trips # 30 & #31, departing at 2:45 P.M. from Virginia Ave. & E St. This trip will stop at St. Charles Towne Center Mall, U.S.301 Park & Ride Lot and will terminate at Smallwood Village Center.
Route 902-Trip #28 will NOT operate. In its place, a bus will run between trips #18 & #19, departing at 2:50 P.M., and will make all stops, EXCEPT the Calvert County Fairgrounds.
Route 905-Trips #36 and #39 will NOT operate. Instead, two buses will run the mid-day trip (trip #22) making all stops, and another bus will run between trips # 23 & #24, departing at 2:20 P.M., from 20th St. & E St. and will stop at Mattawoman Beantown Park & Ride Lot and terminate at Charlotte Hall.
