Bird rescue??

Did anyone see the ad in the bird section of the classifieds for the bird rescue group? They were selling bobwhite quail and then mentioned there were more in the incubator about to hatch. Why would a rescue group want to hatch more birds? Kinda defeats the purpose....like if the animal shelter bred more dogs. Does anyone else think this is weird?

Its possible that the nesting mother was injured, and they saved both bird and eggs. The clutch wasn't necessarily "intended"... however, if they really ARE a bird rescue, shouldn't they do the proper thing and return the birds to the wild after they are healed and/or able to take care of themselves?
