Bunny Bailey Studio of Dance -- 50 years!

Two of my little ones take dance classes at Bunny Bailey and we are very pleased with the instruction there.

I just thought I would pass along that the studio is in it's 50th year and I guess I am interested in what her former students have to say. Have any of her former students gone on to continue dancing? Professionally?

I am hoping there will be some sort of community honor for Mrs. Bailey, I think she plans to retire after this year. What an accomplishment!

My husband and his brother and sister all went there. Loved it!!!! Thought the world of her and Mickey.

I know Pat Wetzel made it to Broadway but I can't remember if he was with Bunny Bailey or Gracie's. :confused:

Do you know him? I was talking about him not too long ago with my cousin. I knew him years ago. I still have pictures from when he escorted me to a formal dance back in the day. I tried to look him up on the internet to see what ever became of him but I didn't have any luck. He was an amazing dancer.

Gracie's just celebrated her 25th year.

I know that Gracie's son Justin is currently on Tour with STOMP and he does some occasional show on Broadway.

Daughter is attending 4th year there this year. 2nd year show dance & tap, 4th year for ballet & loves it. Of course she wants to add Jazz next year but she'll only be 7 & I think she has to be older than that to take it! lol

I knew a couple girls who went there years ago. I belive one of them Jessica tried to go on and take her dancing farther, but sadly she did not make it.
