Woman Beats Victim with Wooden Stick - Southern Maryland News, Charles County, Calvert County and St. Mary's County News

On Jan. 28, Deputy Green responded to a residence in Callaway, for a report of an assault.

Investigation revealed Jennifer Louise Barnes, 34 of Callaway, was involved in a verbal argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Barnes struck the victim several times with a wooden stick.

Jennifer Barnes was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

A wooden stick, mind you, not the other kind. Actually the only other stick that comes to mind right now is a stick of butter and that woudn't be nearly as effective.

My Momma always told me that it you're gonna beat someone with a stick, make sure it is wooden...Preferrably a tobacco stick....My Dad used many on me...
