Battery Breakthrough???

I read 7 surveyed this article...is it really possible to get this broadly marketed?
I would love to be off the grid in my retirement cottage in a few years!!!

Took a while to get thru all that! Got sidetracked a few times...

Interesting technology. Sounds like the first real advance in battery storage in a while. The problem area is still recharging. Windmills are not practical in many places, like here, and solar tech just isn't there yet. Not enough power derived from voltaic panels in spite of being able to mass produce them.

There is one big advantage here tho. The byproduct of the battery is heat. Almost 100*C, just about water boiling. That can be easily tapped for home heating and cooling, even running a fridge or freezer with only enough electricity being used to run a circulator or fan.. Think of the energy to be saved there......
