Having Fun!
I received the following email from a friend today, letting me know aobut a program that I knew nothing about. I checked out the site and it's such a wonderful idea, I wanted to share it with you all! Here is the text of her email with the important information included.
It actually took me more than 10 seconds because I took the time to read some of the messages sent out and some of the ones that the soldiers sent back.
As we approach our Thanksgiving holiday, one that will hopefully be spent with family and friends, and full of good food and maybe some football, it would be great if we could take a little bit of time and send a small "thank you" to those who make it possible for us to sit down to a huge dinner in a world where there is food to eat, a place to sleep, a reasonable expectation of physical safety, and the freedom to speak our minds in a place like somd online.
XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL
If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.
This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.
Thanks for taking to time to support our military!
