Americans for Prosperity Southern Maryland Chapter will be holding a meeting tonight, Wednesday, June 2 at 7 PM, in Waldorf at the American Legion Post.
Americans for Prosperity (AFP)-Maryland is part of the nation’s premier grassroots organization committed to advancing every individual’s right to economic freedom. We believe that the size and scope of Government has grown to an unmanageable level and is stifling the prospect of individual prosperity. AFP-Maryland educates and energizes citizen leaders at the grassroots level in support of restraining local, state and federal government growth.
The AFP Southern Maryland Chapter includes Prince George's, Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert counties.
Topics for discussion will include, the economy and the US Constitution.
The training event will be: debating.
Another subject for discussion is a new chapter to be organized in St. Mary’s County.
