Need someone for small home jobs

Looking for someone to do some small jobs around the house. Need a window unit A/C installed and want to swith thermostat to an enerby efficient one. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Uh!, better check. I think these might be the ones they can turn on and off when they want to. Like your hot water heater with load management. If they are plain old energy saver type where you can program day/night/weekend settings then by all means get it.

They are some type of load management device and are programmable. SMECO can turn you system off during peak load times but they only allow your thermostat to raise two degrees after that the system comes back on. You also get a small discount throughout the year.

I have it, itcan be programmed several different ways and there has only been one instance where the ac was "held" for a brief period of time. I didn't even notice a difference in the house. I say it is well worth it.

They're cheap and don't work well. At least that was our experience and I know others who have had issues with them as well.
