I swear when my beloved doggies are gone I will not get another. When you have a dog, you are on their schedule. You can't pick up and go away for the evening or weekend or such. You can't be gone from the home for too long. If you are out and about and want to stop in to visit someone or extend your evening to do shopping or a movie, you can't because you dog is waiting on you... or even worse... no longer waiting but walking around in it...
You had better tuck aside some of that fun money. Yearly well baby costs are a chunk and gawd forbid you end up with a sickly or injured dog... you are talking thousands that need to be at your immediate disposal.
