just wondering thoughts on Pelosi deciding to stay??
Democrats would prove how big of an idiot they are if they make her the minority lead.
SHe's already admitted she's going to be an obstructionist, and will do anything to stop the reprublicans from being successful.. (ie getting the country out of it's economic woes, finding jobs for Americans, and solving the debt problem).. If they voter her to be their lead, then ALL of them are admitting they are going to do the same, damn the damage they may cause to the country.
Two more years we can kick her totally out of the office and what a hit that will be for her party if she's their leader when she gets the boot from the AMerican voters.

I figure our boy Steny to get that job.
Not that he is any better, but he almost got the Speakers job ,and he isn't above abandoning his spot on Nancy's butt to seek the Minority leadership.
Steny's only loyalty is to the himself.
Loyal to the party, because it helps him get to the top.

I agree and hope to see them slapped around a few times, however, when is it going to stop?
The way I see it, the mess the country is in right now has allot to do with the parties trying to outdo each other more than work with each other.
Every time power shifts whoever gets that power tries to outdo what the last party did.
It really started with Nixon, and its been going down hill ever since.
anyone else thinks its time for the parties to work together again, I think that if they did it would bring things back to center and leave no room for socialists like obama.
Nancy Pelosi is drunk with power. If she were a rational person, she'd realize that she's no Tip O'Neill. In fact, she might be the worst Speaker ever, at least in my era of consciousness. She needs to retire, effective immediately.
And I hope with all my heart Steny doesn't get the Minority Leader position. I'd like to see him start representing us instead of the party and the people who grease his palm.
On a related note, what kind of lunatic wants to rumble in politics through their golden years?? Are they that freaking pathetic and insecure that they can't take their money and legacy and go home? Build a little cabin in Idaho, fish for trout? Maybe get to know their family members before they die?
