Michelle Obama's Birthday Celebration: First Lady Turns 47, Performs Community Service (PHOTOS)

"Today is not only Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, but it's also Michelle Obama Day. In a way. The first lady turned 47 on Monday, and she and her family marked the occasion by paying tribute to MLK with a painting project at a school on Capitol Hill. See below for some sweet photos of that.

On Sunday, the first family attended services Metropolitan AME Church, where fellow parishioners sang "Happy Birthday" to the first lady."

I have to admit, for a liberal family the Obama's give relatively large amounts to charity. I believe they're over 5% (minor compared to Bush's over 10%, or Cheney's 77%, but waaaaay above the Biden's <1%).

So, for liberals, you have to give them some credity.
