With the Obama administration seemingly ignoring the ruling on healthcare, what power does the judiciary have to make the administration follow the court's order?
Judge Vinson ruled the healthcare law as unconstitutional yet the administration just kept on going as if there was no ruling. Other than political ramifications, whats to keep the administration from enforcing a law that has been ruled unconstitutional by the judiciary?
For example, could the judiciary rule the President is in contempt and order him jailed? How would the judiciary enforce such a ruling? The judiciary is the final arbitrator on the laws, but what prevents the executive branch from following their rulings?
