I am looking for a caterer who can recreate the classic Hot Shoppes' Mighty Mo/Royal Burger, possibly Pappy Parker Fried Chicken, along with fries and onion rings, following the Hot Shoppes recipes which I will provide. The next Marlow Heights 60s and 70s dance is tentatively scheduled to be held Saturday, September 24, 6 p.m. to midnight, at the Chesapeake Beach American Legion. In keeping with the Marlow Heights 60s and 70s theme of the event, I want to serve classic food items of that era. The number of people who have attended past dances numbered from approximately 150 to over 300, so that's the scale of servings I'm projecting.
If you can recommend a good, reliable caterer for the event, please let me know. It's not important to me how well a caterer does a certain specialty (i.e., ribs, chicken, etc.) but more so how well they can follow a recipe precisely and serve food prepared fresh and hot to 200 to 300 people, at an affordable price.
