My dog was scratching on my door to get in around that time. He likes to hide under my bed during t-storms, so maybe that's what he wanted. He's not as brave as yours is.

That is pretty far away for humans to feel a 2.5 mag. A few years back, there was a 4+ one near Richmond that was clearly felt in the DC area.

very odd coincidence! at almost exactly that time this morning, my little boy (who is kinda sick right now) woke bohman and I up sitting in the hall sobbing his little heart out. never managed to get hiom coherent enough to tell us why he was crying.
