Can one make the case President George W. Bush "lied" or "misled" or intentionally "mischaracterized" the intelligence on Iraq and WMD in order to lead us to war? Sure, if one possesses a visceral anti-Bush mindset coupled with a willingness to ignore powerful arguments in favor of the war:

:rolleyes: It is ironic, among other things, that all the major powers in the world stepped up to the plate and told us that Saddam Hussein possessed WMDs.

Yet, now our lying, scumbag liberal left weinies are jumping all over themselves accusing the president of purposefully misleading the country(and the world); the great and honorable Sen. Ted Kennedy for one - he of Chappaquiddick fame - purports that the president did it for political gain.

Yeah, I can really fathom G. W. Bush hatching the plan down in Crawford, Tex, sending off thousands of soldiers to Iraq, some never to come home again, solely to further his political future.

Maybe it's just me, but accusations like that border on treason, coming from people like him.

But to go one more thought ahead, in the article many people have stated their belief Saddam and Iraq did have WMDs.

So, are they ALL misleading us?

Or are the lying, scumbag Democrats misleading us?

Which is it? You decide.

You misunderestimate the Bush Evil Empire. Dubya actually hatched his insidious plot when he was a mere shrub playing with baseball teams. He coerced Saddam into invading Kuwait to give his Daddy a reason to send in troops. Then he talked Saddam into gassing the Kurds to make him look even more evil.

Rape rooms? Dubya's idea.

He didn't plan on Daddy not getting re-elected but he slipped Willie Jeff a couple of interns and Saddam was back on the Evil Doer list.

Why all this animosity toward Saddam, you ask? Simple: when Dubya was a young child (3rd grade, to be exact), he had a crush on a girl named Mary Lou Swiggins. She had golden blonde hair and cerulean blue eyes. Dub brought her candy, carried her books, traded his PBJ for her egg salad - did every thing he could think of to make young Mary Lou notice him and love him.

But Mary Lou's heart belonged to another - namely (you guessed it) Saddam Hussein Al Tikrit, an exchange student and international playboy. Young Hussein went on to marry Mary Lou Swiggins and she bore him 13 children before she died in an unfortunate wood chipper accident.

Dubya never got over it. He tried to go on and forget his first true love, even delving into substance abuse to ease the pain. But nothing worked. The only thing that could avenge his heartbreak was to DESTROY THE MAN WHO STOLE HIS LIFE!
