If any American with a patriotic pulse listened to the Mike Malloy radio show, they would have been shocked on Monday night when Malloy outrageously suggested that Navy SEALs should have shot former president George W. Bush, and not Osama bin Laden. (MP3 audio clip here.)

Sadly, you see many people, often from the left but others as well, try to lump Hannity/Levin/Rush/Beck in with them as Shock Jocks as well.

Time Magazine even put Rush on the cover with Howard Stern with the Headline about Shock Jocks, I think the rest was how they were harming or asking if it was good for America.

Granted, they do take the position of conflict, that is their show, but you just have to listen for a week or two to figure out, its NOT shock effect conflict, it is very much political punditry, examination of the issues from a perspective with some funny parody thrown in.

Sadly, just like the comparison of MSNBC to Fox News, the liberal counter part is NOT the mirror image. The liberal counterpart goes way overboard and is often far more left and radical than what they accusse the right talk show or news organization to be.

Ever listen to Air America? Every hour brought a new Black Helicopter Conspiracy theory, especially the Randi Roads show, its was nothing but Black Helicopter Conspiracy Theories. If it wasn't that, then it was nothing but venom and bile directed at anyone on the right.

Its one thing to argue how the other side is wrong and examine the evidence, even make fun of the other side and parody them, like you see on conservative outlets. Thats NOT the same as just baseless accussations, name calling, and hateful rhetoric you see from left outlets, like this Mike Malloy.

Keith Obermann, has he once awarded his daily "Worst Person in the World" award to OBL or another Terrorist? Nope, he reserves that award each day for a Conservative, that has done nothing more than offend him with their idealogy, that pales in comparison with many Keith Obermann gladly ignores.
