We have a division placed upon the people of our great Country where they are forced to take sides. You are either a Republician or a Democrat. Independent? Foolish thought. They wouldn't let you vote in the primary, would they? We have people on both sides who are so blinded with their beliefs, that they can't see the truth in front of them. It's a real shame how our party system divides our Country. Meanwhile, they point fingers at each party when nothing gets done..... while they COLLECT six figures salaries on YOUR dime during a time when more and more Americans are barely getting by. When elections come, we are like sheep lead to slaughter. - like a good slave, we vote for who we are taught to vote for, regardless of whether or not the person deserves the vote.
The politicians love it when Americans bicker at each other over their political beliefs like we have been conditioned to do by our system of politics. We have lost sight from the "ORIGINAL" Constitution, which has been changed many times over the years by Congress. Under the "original" Constitution, our forefathers wrote that we are not supposed to have a party system of government. They even took the time to state why. They said "it would lead to corruption". How did they know, so many years ago?
Can you imagine if we had a government of FOR the people and BY the people of the United States instead of for "politicians" own enrichment schemes? Can you imagine a government without a "political agenda" who votes on issues based solely on the merit of what they are voting for? This is the true dream that all of us should strive to have. It is only a dream until it becomes reality. And with reality, we will be released from the shackles of political slavery.
