Sorry about that chief.
Of course, they can't look at druggie Rush's records, but wimmen who have abortions don't have rights under this administration. Geez, score another win for the bad guys.

Wait a minute. The government bans partial-birth abortions (became law on 11/05/2003) and now they can't enforce the law even if patient identification is removed from the records they seek because of contended privacy issues. Gives that law real teeth.

Lawyers legislating reproductive issues can't be a good thing. If they find anything who will they arrest? The woman who is "anonymous" the doctor who performed the abortion to save the woman's life? That's what we need, more doctors in prison, along with arresting those crazy homosexuals who get married.

Oh, everyone of these type abortions was to save the mother's life? Gee, you must have access to records that Ashcroft can't get. Must be nice.

There are other ways to choose not to reproduce rather than suck an 8-month fetus' brains out through its half-born head.

Abstinence? Naiveity doesn't suit you. The majority of these operations in the third trimester are performed because:

The fetus is dead.
The fetus is alive, but continued pregnancy would place the woman's life in severe danger.
The fetus is alive, but continued pregnancy would grievously damage the woman's health and/or disable her.
The fetus is so malformed that it can never gain consciousness and will die shortly after birth. Many which fall into this category have developed a very severe form of hydrocephalus.

In addition, some physicians violate their state Medical Association's regulations and perform elective D&X procedures - primarily on women who are suicidally depressed.

Overhype by the right to lifers severly overstated the number of these operations performed annually, the best numbers are around 2 - 5 thousand a year.
