Public Announcement:
The State Highway Administration will soon begin maintenance work on the Governor Thomas Johnson bridge on MD 4, which spans the Patuxent River and Town Creek between Calvert and St. Mary's Counties. The main objective of the project is to paint the existing steel beams on the Solomons side of the bride. The work is unrelated to ongoing planning studies that evaluate the long-term effectiveness of the bridge.
For additional information, the public is invited to attend a meeting to acquaint them with the project:
