"A 35-year-old Maryland woman has disappeared from Oranjestad, Aruba, the same resort town where Natalee Holloway went missing in May 2005.

Fox News reports that Robyn Gardner has not been seen since she went snorkeling with Gary Giordano last week.

Giordano has told investigators that Gardner simply did not return to shore. Yet Richard Forester, Gardner's boyfriend, says he doesn't find the story believable. According to Fox, Giordano has changed his story several times.

Forester told Fox, "I want to let people know this is going on. She's been missing six days, and every day she's gone raises fear that she won't be coming back."

Gardner was staying at the Marriott's Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino according to the Natalee Holloway Resource Center, which helps families locate missing loved ones immediately after they disappear. Gardner, a petite blond with distinctive tattoos, has been missing for nearly a week.

Johan van der Sloot, the man widely believed to have killed Holloway, is currently in a Peruvian prison. He was convicted last year of killing a woman on the fifth anniversary of Holloway's disappearance. Holloway is still listed, along with six others, as missing people on Aruba's official tourism website.

Do you like apples?
Color me confused. Her boyfriend is this Forester guy, but she was down there with this other guy.......

Lawyer of detained American annoyed, reacts: Client offered to remain on the island, but police preferred to detain him at airport

So, does anyone else get this?

Maybe they had an on-again-off-again relationship, or an open relationship, or she broke up with him and he still loves her, or she was getting it on the side?

Either way, it doesn't add up. Something fishy goin on in Aruba again.

Solution: If you're an American; more specifically an American woman; stay the H*ll outta Aruba.

Ok, I am just confused right now. I keep reading that the guy said she did not return to shore after they were snorkeling.

For some odd reason, nowhere am I reading anything that says something along the line of ...as soon as he noticed that she was not with him he started searching and was unable to locate her at which time he promptly notified police and maritime authorities so a search of the waters could be commenced.

Hello?????? I thought rules for snorkeling was never go alone, always stay with your partner, etc., etc.

If some other news site reported this piece, please let me know about it so I can read it and clear up my confusion.

Also you should resist the urge to kill your partner.
It's possible they never even went snorkeling and that is the story he is telling police. There was an extensive search done in the area and they could find nothing.
Or, he could be innocent and this was a tragic accident. There are some very good snorkeling spots with very strong currents that is easy to find yourself in trouble. According to the local press though, this guy's story made him a person of interest.
